Swishers MN - Team Hype Ups

With Dan2 anchoring the backline, this ragtag group of players mostly hailing from the Visayas and Mindanao regions of the Philippines stuns opponents with its relentless defensive pressure. While not all of them speak Bisaya, they speak the exact same language when it comes to basketball, grit, and grind!

Arguably the most balanced squad in terms of age, skill, and athleticism, this team is spearheaded by an absolute rocket of a player in Jeorge. They blend a methodical half-court game fueled by mid-range snipers with an exciting, fast-paced attack from their high-leaping athletes.

This might be the hungriest team in the league. Composed of primed players with a massive chip on their shoulders, they are eager to prove they belong and can take on anyone. Driven by youthful exuberance, they play with a relentless physical edge—completely unafraid to hit or get hit in their absolute obsession to win. With JM at the helm, this team is an absolute mayhem.

This team is scary in transition, with Lattrel "spreewheeling" and bulldozing his way to the basket. They got a massive boost to their lineup with players who can run, gun, and punish you down the baseline. Sleep on them on the court, and you will never see the light of day again.

Sharing a trait with LeBron James himself, this team is built on pure longevity. They aren't just surviving in the league they are thriving. Made up of seasoned veterans of the ball club, they are easily some of the most battle-tested players on the hardwood. Backed by the towering, unmistakable presence of Leon, this squad is impossible to ignore.

Captain Kendrick is back and on a mission. Last season, he spearheaded a ferocious finals contender that came within inches of the crown, narrowly losing a heartbreak game to the eventual champions. Is this finally the year he hoists the championship cup? Armed with a massive injection of firepower from Papa Nyeta, this squad packs a devastating punch.

As one of the two guest teams that have signed up for this season, this squad is composed of players from the New Life Christian Fellowship church. But don't take them lightly—their team may sound holy, but they can definitely beat the devil out of anyone!

Introducing our second guest team, hailing all the way from southeastern Minnesota. This squad is no stranger to tough competition or long road trip. They were recently crowned champions at the latest Filipino Cup in Iowa. Make no mistake, just like their favorite canned meat (SPAM), this team is incredibly seasoned.
